Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, treacle, caramel, cake, taste is chewy, chocolate, caramel, soy sauce, rich, pretty good.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 2. Pours oily black with a small, creamy topping. Strong, lots of dark chocolate, earth, raisins, bitter cocoa, ashy roast. Full bodied, well oily, with soft carbonation. Warming finish, more ash, baking cocoa. So so. A little rocky.

Keg at indy man beer con. Session 2. A jet black coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is meaty, bovril, soy, liquorice, Worcester sauce.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, meaty roast, soy. Nutty roast treacle. Not very good. Palate is sweet meat, moderate carbonation.

Keg at IMBC. It pours opauq jet black with a small dark tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, chocolate sponge cake, sweet roasted malt, vanilla, brownies, fruit cake, cookie dough and sticky toffee pudding. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, dungy, oily, cookie dough, chocolate cake, boozy, raw, harsh, spice, coffee liqueur, varnish and burn plastic with a sweet and warming finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Nice aroma.but tastes a bit odd. Middling.
