440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. I’m rating the 2024 version, but I’ve no idea how the 2024 version can be differentiated from other versions. There is no version info on the can .Poured almost black in colour, with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, banoffee, nutty. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, banana, creamy caramel, light vanilla, warm, boozy liquorice bitter palate and an oily mouthfeel. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can. An unclear dark brown beer with a small tan head. Unclear. The aroma is malty indeed, with roasted malts, dark fruit and toffee. Quite nutty. Alcohol and perfumed hints too. It's full to medium bodied, gently carbonated, with a gentle carbonation. Roasted malts, licorice, some burnt malts and a touch of dark dried fruit. Toffee too. Long malt driven finish. Not bad at all. 240209

Growler. Dark brown. Marshmallow, peanuts, cocoa, roasted malts, banana, earthy, sugary sweet grains. Solid sweet but not too much, lighter bitter. Almost full bodied. Smells very artificial but the taste is decent.
