Can. An almost see through copper colored beer with a dense two finger off-white head. The aroma has a delicious coffee twist, with hazelnut, some toffee and dark bread, and some roasted malts in the flavor. Lightly piney too. It's medium to full bodied and soft on the palate, a bit on the sweet side, but far from sticky. Coffee, roasted malts, hazelnut, toffee and chocolate flavor with a hint of piney hops and a little bitterness. Mellow, lasting finish. Quite nice this one, but a 44cl can was more than I needed. Not very true to style either, not that it matters. 240916

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy amber to reddish brown colour, large white head. Malty aroma, notes of toffee and brown bread with syrup, distinct notes of coffee. Flavour of mild coffee, malts, toffee and caramel, not too sweet, a hint of dried dates. Very moderate hops. I was skeptical to adding coffee to an altbier, but it has been done with moderation, so the beer stands forth as pretty well balanced.

440ml can,#925, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Stable, bubbly, off-white head, misty amber body, spotty lacing. Promising aromas of ripe fruits and mid-sweet malts. Tastes fine with fruity caramel to the fore added by bread-like malts and an integrated bite of coffee. Malt-fruity end, soft mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Pretty good. (Tromsø, 19.11.2023).
