Bottle sample at the Mead Museum, pours a clear blonde. Aroma brings out rich honey nectar, some beeswax and light floral notes. Flavour is rich, sweet and boozy, with a deep honey nectar character, light beeswax and a nice alcoholic warming character. Strong and assertive but clean and well-balanced. Very good.

Pours a pale, golden blonde. Scent is mild, the least expressive of the five different honey - meads I've had by them. Mild generic honey, very smooth, not very funky at all. Perhaps just a tad herbal. Taste is full, smooth, medium sweet, mildly floral. Very dense compared to the others, more 'closed' in terms of aroma's, but not in intensity of smoothness and sweetness. perhaps a mild bitter touch, and just a bit to much alcohol to me. Very decent, just not all that special.
