Dark brown colour, Rye bready, a bit of soya sauce and caramel. Medium-bodied. Malty, a bit roasted, rye bready with some caramel. 2.5 year old brew is now very good Baltic Porter.

Can (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Deep rubyish brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted, some nutty and mild liquorice with a bit chocolasty tones too. Flavour is nutty, toasted, some nutty and mild fudgey tones. Pleasant.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear mahogany reddish brown with a small, beige head. Sweet licorice aroma. Medium body, again sweet licorice and faint roast. Some molasses. Subdued bitterness. Very drinkable, but nothing much more than an Imperial Dunkel! 040923

Can at home. Has a dark brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of bread crust, leather, dark wood and raisins. Flavour of bread crust, leather. soy sauce and some raisins and roasted malt. Has a slick and slightly silky mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Malty and decent dark lager, but less roasted than expected.

330ml can, #637 2212, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Durable beige head, deep, deep dark brown body, spotty lacing. Attractive roasted malty aromas, moments of caramel and nuts. Fine balanced taste of brittle caramel, bread, liquorice, and nuts offset by roasted bitterness towards the ending. Pleasant porter enjoyed on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 03.12.2022).
