Can. Clear gold, a cm of white head. Soapy citrus aroma with grainy dough, sugar. Quite bitter with some herbal and slightly metallic notes. The fruitiness of the hop never really gets going.

Anfangs dachte ich aufgrund des Namens, dass es sich um ein türkisches Bier handelt, aber es ist ein untypischer Belgier. Unter einem Dikkenek, also Jemanden mit dicken Nacken versteht man dort einen Angeber🧐, welcher auch die Dose ziert. Es ist ein mit Citra gehopftes IPA nach belgischer Prägung. So hat es auf der einen Seite die erfrischenden 🏄‍♂️ grasigen Hopfennoten und das aufgrund der netten getreidigen Körpers🤹‍♂️ recht aromatisch. Nur der Abgang ist mir etwas zu plump-bitter.

Clear blond yellow beer, big creamy irregular white head, unstable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: ripe banana, malty, yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, malty, banana, very metallic, a bit of a soapy bitterness, fruity touch. Aftertaste: very bitter, herbal, metallic, banana peel, herbal finish.

33cl can from Carrefour Market Cours St. Michel in Brussels. F: medium, white, average retention. C: gold, almost clear. A: malty, citrus, apricot, pineapple, spicy, bit banana. T: malty, citrus, tangerine, grapefruits, pineapple, spicy, long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, bit herbal, good one, enjoyed.
