On tap at Kaķis Maisā, pours a red-tinged deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma has toasted malt, some earthiness, and a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is dry, with gentle cocoa, earthiness, toasted malt, and a touch of tartness. More or less on point other than the tartness. Not bad but not great.

Draught, sample tray at Kaķis Maisā. Near-black body, off-white head, fair lacing. Roasted on the nose with hints of dark chocolate, inviting. Malt-forward taste with cocoa, coffee and chocolate. Rounded roasted malty finish. Medium bodied. Nice. (Riga, 08.11.2025).

Taster at Kaķis Maisā, Riga. A bit cloudy, brown to black colored. AROMA- roasted, brown sugar, chocolate, coffee, caramel, earthy. FLAVOR- neutral, slightly sour, slightly bitter, earthy, coffee, roasted. Medium bodied.
Maybe too light and a bit sourish.

Smell-weak malt, weak cofee remains.
Foam-thin, cofee, malt, bitter tones. Head is quite small, light brown.
Appearance- a generic label I guess.

Taste - malty, weak coffee remains, faint sweetness, then some bitter tones Not bad, but not for me. Feels a bit like Guinness, but I don't like Guinness.

On tap at Kakis Maisa, Riga on 13th June 2024. Sold sepia to black with shallow, tan, non-lacing foam. Inviting coffee and chocolate aromas. Dark chocolate in-mouth with ripe cherry fruits, with both flavours reflected in the finish. Light to medium bodied with a velvet smooth mouthfeel.

100ml shared with Ryan. Appearance: dark brown. Aroma: roasty, coffee, some caramel and sweetness. Taste: same, semi sweet. Overall: ok.
