The beer is good, but I don't think in the way they want. It has gone sour, but in a way that works, accidentally i think. A dubbel should not taste like this. Graeff Getranke shop

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before May 2020. Almost clear, brownish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, vinous and gently fruity aroma of caramel, nuts, red wine and some dark fruits. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly bitter, fairly vinous and quite fruity taste of caramel, red wine, dark fruits and some wood, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally tart, gently dry and quite vinous finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottled 330ml (Boxbeers)
Murky brown colour, small beige head. Tart, earthy, woody aroma. Some dubbel-like sweetness but could be from Muscatel barrel also. Medium-bodied. Flavour is less tart than expected after nose. Mild sourness and wood. Hints of fruityness, Belgi yeast. Short finish. Boring.

Bottle (i think this was from trade with roman, so thanks!). Slight gusher. Pours dark brown. Aroma is sour, fruity, malty. Flavor is sweet and sour, malt, some vinous notes, caramel. Covers alcohol well. Overall: not sure it should be sour like this, but I kind of like it. Points removed from overall, because it was a gusher.

0,33 l bottle from the brewery shop on fridays. Bottle No. 1080. Murky dark brown in the glass, small head. Smells malty with sugar sweetness, some barrel wood with sourness. Taste starts surprisingly with some red wine elements, increasing dry malt. Fruity sourness in the background. Less sweetness than expected. No carbonation. Hidden alcohol. Balanced stuff.
