Can from Beers of Europe. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coconut and maple syrup, as expected. Taste is more of the same. Thin, dirty finish.

Dunkler, süßlich malziger Beginn mit Kakao und wenig Kokosnuss. Cremig, überraschend süffig, Ahornsirup ist erkennbar, glücklicherweise aber nicht zu dominant. Langer malziger Kokosabgang. 9/10/8/9/10/9

Taste at Bratislavka. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma of coffee, maple syrup, dark chocolate, touch of coconut. Taste is malty together with dark chocolate, maple syrup, coconut is very decent. There are nice roasty notes in finish. Very good.

Tap at Zil verne. Med-full body, med-light carbonation. Med-high sweetness, medium bitterness. Feels sweeter than necessary, and no wonder, when one reads the ingredients. Still good though, with lots of dark, chocolatey malt character - probably partly due to actual cocoa used too. Coconut is very light, I would not pick it up by myself. Similar story with maple syrup. That is not bad though - restrained use of extra shit in impy stouts is fine by me. I would just take away all of the lactose at least, it makes it feel kinda melta-ish. Good but not great.

0.44 l can from the Garden Brewery, shared with the Jolly Rogers at the rehearsal. Aroma is cocoa, chocolate, nuts, soft molasses and a hint of coconut. Sweet, but balanced. Very smooth, even drinkable. Not cloying, not annoying. Flavour is sweet milk chocolate, hints of cocoa and syrup, also a fine roasty character. Minimal bitterness, alcohol hidden. Medium to full body. Very proficient.

Can, 0.44l. Black pour, huge frothy brown head, medium retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Sweet and roasty notes on the nose, bready, cocoa, dark fruits. Subtle liquory touches. Medium body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, somewhat lightweight but smooth and easily drinkable. Balanced roasty bittersweet taste, slightly sticky and more on the sweet side. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, maple syrup. Bready notes, waffles, dark fruits, molasses, sugary. Subtle coconut notes lingering in the background. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry, mild roasty, lingering sweetness. Good.
