[50cl bottle from a farm shop near Tarporley.] A pale amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma with a hint of farmyard; crisp tropical fruit taste - melon, mango, pineapple and citrus with a pale malt backbone; then a dry, pithy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma but there’s some hints of hops and tropical fruits. In the mouth it is juicy and quite bitter. Grains and hops (traditional / floral) are both prominent plus traces of citrus, caramel and spice. Bitterness increases to give a rather dry finish. It’s reasonable. I would call it an IPA / ISA rather than a pale ale though.
