26/12/2019. Can from The Tuppenny, Swindon. New brewery #3333. Pours very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, hops, milk chocolate, citrus, pine, dark fruit and touch of coffee. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, oily and slightly watery texture, above average carbonation. Roasted, bitter finish.

Can. Pours black with beige head. Aroma and flavor are roast, malt, chocolate, hops, fruits, citrus. Overall: really solid black ipa.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a large frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, pine, grapefruit. Taste is roasty, chocolatey, pine, grapefruit, coffee, quite bitter throughout. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation.

Can at home. Brown color, beige head. Smell and taste malts, nice mix of dark malts, roast a bit and hoppy notes. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown with orange chinks. Off white generous head. Nose - pine, resin, earthy, dirty toffee. Taste - pine and toffee. Resin and earth again. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture. Dry, lightly bitter finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but good.

Bottle shared on Level 42, 07/02/19. Many thanks! A clear nut brown coloured pour wth a frothy light tan head. Aroma si dirty pine, nutty malts, hazelnut, earthy roast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dirty toasted malts, earth, dirty pine, light metalic, brown leaves. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carboantion, Not bad.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to ze Tipple, 07/02/19. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is dusty fruits, roast malts, liquorice, pine dusting, cocoa powder, light charr. Taste comprises dark malts, dried fruits, ashen tones, pine needle, charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with dusty hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Ik wil lekker in een warm bedje gaan liggen. Het bier is prima, maar nachtrust is heilig. Heftige tijden.

Can shared in London - cheers to Tipple. Pours clear brown with a creamy tan head. Quite nice, mellow roast, dry cocoa, toasted pine and orange peel. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more bittersweet cocoa and ashy roast, pine. Solid.

Can from The Beerhive. Clear dark brown body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of blueberry, bramble and liquorice. Flavour of weak coffee, plum and wood. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This is such an easy drinking BIPA. Very nice.
