Keyaki. Last beer of the day and significantly better than the two sets that preceded it. Pretty nice hoppy pale ale. Biscuity, light citrus hops. Not so mind blowing but pretty nice. Possibly did well after the previous stuff.

Clear amber pour with some white foam on the top. Nose is grassy, some light caramel, slight herbal notes. Tastes kind of hoppy bitter, light caramel and herb character there as well. Body light, grainy and hops are intense. Malty and bitter, OK.

Bottle, thanks jinroh! Pours golden. Aroma and flavor are grassy, caramel, malt. Feels quite dry. Overall: drinkable.

Sample from the bottle at FatPhil's, Tallinn. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Pine, Grass, hops and malts.

Bottle from Yamaichi via internet. Malty, citrus, bit of pithy or murky notes. Some pine. Deep orange. Hazy with a lacy head. Flavor is rich malt, biscuits and crackers, somewhat wheaty, too, with bitter, rather astringent hops, citrus fruit, some ripe tropical fruit. Decent but a bit amateur.

Frothy white head. Big clean hoppy nose of grapefruit and apples. Modest hoppiness. Light very drinkable. Decent.

Bottle. Gift from Terje. Pours hazy golden amber with small white head. Aroma is malt, orange, mandarin, caramel, sugar, bread, allspice and cardamom. Taste is light sweet, medium to very bitter, light to medium acidic and light umami. Body is light syrupy with sparking carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of malt, caramel, pepper, allspice, juniper, sweet licorice, bread and roasted malt (swartzbier style). Very interesting beer with good complexity.

This is not a brown ale, but OK. Thanks for the bottle Sam! Pours a golden yellow with no head to speak of. Aromas of orange and sweet mandarin with a hint of grain. Body is thin and a bit too watery, but still holds together alright. Sweet on the palate with a light bitter finish, but a little too sweet for my taste.
