Inspired by early mornings drinking diner coffee and enjoying a comforting pile of syrup covered waffles. Big and bold, expect deep layers of baker's chocolate, toasted bread, and rich maple sugar balanced by freshly ground coffee beans: full-bodied and coating, a pure treat.

Euros night, Italy - Spain in Odense. Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of maple syrup, molasses and liquorice. Sweet, roasted flavour with loads of molasses, with a bitter touch of coffee in the finish.

Dark pour with a tall ,fine-grained tan head. Huge coffee up front, followed by burnt caramel, maple, espresso, mocha, cacao nibs, more coffee, more maple, ashy roastiness, subtle bourbon. Really nice, right up my alley - lots of coffee and plenty of maple syrup, but not over the top on the sweetness.

Draft sampled at Mikkeller at Morebeer, thanks! Black with dark brown head. Maple up front, lots of fudge and chocolate, bitter coffee, earthy roast. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Tasty.

Black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, vanilla, roast, coffee, maple syrup and boozy notes. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Svart med beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, kakao. Smaker lønnesirup, salt lakris. Kjenner alkoholvarme. Kakao i ettersmak sammen med salt lakris.

Can from Systembolaget Bromma Blocks. Black with a small tan head. Sweet with roasted malt, maple syrup, coffee, dark chocolate and caramel. Full body and with well hidden alcohol.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is massive coffee, burnt beans, chocolate, taste is quite bitter coffee, dry, roasted, light on the maple syrup.
