On tap at Mikkeller Little Italy, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of maple syrup upfront, followed by coffee, and a hint of roast. Flavour is very rich, with lots of maple syrup upfront, followed by medium roast coffee, and a hint of roast. Nice infusion of maple syrup in here, complementing the coffee well. Lovely.

Can 1pt. @ [ Tasting ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House.[ As Mikkeller San Diego Træblod ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, coffee, maple syrup. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, maple syrup, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, cocoa. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20190406] 8-4-8-4-16

Burk från Mikkeller. Svart med liten brun krona. Stor sötma och träighet från lönnsirap i förgrunden med en tydlig kaffeton som backar upp. Vanilj, lite körsbär, marschmallows, chokladwaffers. Stor, maffig och kletig kropp. Bakom sötman anas även en kärvhet med hård rostade toner och lite brända popcorn. En lång kaffebeska i avslutningen. Gott.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet maple and chocolat, butterscotch, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light candy sugar, maple, alcohol warmth, very nice and mapley. Can at Dark Lord Day 2018.
