Bottle from the online shop Yamaichi. Dark brown with orange tints and a tall, fine head. Nose is mostly chocolate / cacao nibs / cocoa. It is hard to get at the malt, although it certainly is harmonized. There is a bit of a grape or berry fruitiness that also seems to come from the chocolate. Flavor also is big chocolate, also some caramel, malt seems to have a bigger presence. It works pretty well together, although I can't help but think I would rather just have a proper dunkel. Body is medium. Quite smooth.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!! Coedo x Dandelion Chocolate Chocolate Dunkel 5% Made with cacao nibs from Tanzania it is a brown-amber color with a light beige head and a sweet milk chocolate aroma. The beer has a medium body which delivers nutty chocolate up front that then segways into a sort of fruity cacao nib flavor before ending with a hit of sweetness that is cut through by the dry finish. Well balanced and an interesting take on a Japanese Valentine’s Beer.

650ml bottle. Clear amber pour, clear, some white foam on the top. Nose is full of cocoa, really lots of chocolate there, somewhat grainy overall feel as well. Taste has a bit of caramel, cocoa and chocolate accent coming after that, not so sweet. Light caramel cacao, bit too thin body for cocoa, kind of watery and cannot really stand up to the cocoa chocolate.

Bottle at FatPhil's, Tallinn. Thanks to jinroh! Color is clear dark orange with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Cocoa, chocolate, some dunkel elements and malts. Strange combination which works surprisingly well.

650ml bottle. Beany, earthy and slightly stuffy with some chocolate and cocoa powder. Not very good.
