330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at a slightly reduced price. ABV is 7.1%. Hazy yellow colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of pineapple, a hint of spruce. The flavour has plenty of pineapple as promised, but is better balanced than I feared. Some sweetness, but not too much. Also notes of citrus and hints of sprucetips.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. A bubbly, pearl white head over an opaque golden body. Spotty lacing. Appealing pineapple nose, mid-dry. Rich taste of smooth pineapple joined by lemony hops. Bittersweet fruity tail. Pretty nice. (Bergstua, Malangen, 18.06.2020).

Can. A- Musty, rotten pineapple, dish water. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Dusty, mild bitterness, pineapple. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly astringent finish. O- Not really impressed. Pineapple is there but a bit skunky and dirty tasting. Not sour but not a pale ale either. Just not a fan with this one.

500 ml can into tulip glass, best before 10/17/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy pineapples, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pineapple, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/earthy hops, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy pineapples, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruity/lactic tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pineapples, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/earthy hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitterness, and tangy fruit balance; with no pucker/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tartness, and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Slight lingering resins. Zero warming alcohol for 7.1%. Overall this is an excellent fruited sour IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/earthy hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly aggressive and mellowly lactic. Feels like mostly Nelson Sauvin. Great balance of juicy/hops fruit, with some dank/earthy/Lacto notes; with a nice clean pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Was not expecting a sour IPA initially, but the did a great job as expected.
