Draught @ Dr. Louise, Esbjerg. Pours cloudy nearly black with small tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of chocolate and touches of dried fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of barrel, chocolate, amd yeast, and touches of dried fruit. Roasty and boozy aftertaste with estery and fruity notes. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

Old rating - 330ml bottle from JB's Brewhouse in Jersey, poured at home, it's near black with beige foamy head. Aromas & tastes of dark berries, milk chocolate, coffee & dark malts. Medium body. Well balanced. Moderate bitter finish. The high ABV is very well hidden. Outstanding

Tap at Beer Geek. Full body, med-high carbonation. Lots of dried fruits, dark fruits. Med-high sweetness, also med-high caramel. Med-high bitterness, but mounting slowly, without a very strong roast malt character. Light astringency in the finish. Medium warmth, but pleasant. Good, but not great.

Tap at Beergeek. Pitch black body, some white head maybe. Sweet barrel-like aroma, wine notes, chocolate, cream, sweet and with notes of alcohol. Leaner creamy juicy taste, cocoa and grape juice. Nice and simple. Bit odd, makes me wonder if I really got what I ordered, but I actually liked it a lot anyway!
