Bottle picked up from the brewery Webshop, Denmark and consumed at home Wednesday 28th October 2020 whilst listening to Marc Riley on 6Music and having had homemade Chilli con Carne pies for tea. Pours pitch black with a richness and smoothness and roasty bite. Good stout, it's nice to contrast and compare this with the Kykao Imperial Stout which I have just had, that was evening smoother and creamier, this is a little edgier. Good.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, cherries, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet wtih ntoes of roasted malt, cherries, chocolate, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

I Draught /I Fast gone russet head over jet-black beer. Vanilla, hints at booze, Bourbon, roast, toffee. Roast, meat(roast)crust, but SWEET. Bit woody, also a strange hint at portwine. And vanilla. Feels a lot more carbonated than it looks, chewy, well-bodied, light but present alcoholwarmth. Quite decent stout, not all too sweet, but the To Øl fixation on vanilla is obvious.

330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with some light brown foam on top. Quite rocky bubbles, not coming down too quickly. Nose is thick with booze, some vinous roasted chocolate. Dark black berries and some dried fruits - bit not really sweet at all. Tastes sweet, somewhat harsh otherwise - sweet blackberry marmalade mixed with nail polish. Intense dry roast bitterness in the linger. Dry, really dry. lots of bitterness. Good but not sure I like all the elements in this beer. Probably needs a bit of more time for the beer to get better blended.
