What makes this mead special is the selection of spices it contains. Its recipe has evolved over many years and is currently protected as a family secret.
Slovakian mead of the year 2017 (Gold medal in "Medovinka roka 2017")
Best to be enjoyed slowly from the long-stemmed glasses, cooled down to 12-16 °C. Can be also drank hot, heated to 50-55 °C.

Sample thnx to Tom ! Pours a clear, pale yellow. Scent is fairly complex - gingerbread, cinnamon and honey. Taste is medium high to migh sweetness. Gingerbread , some actual ginger it seems, as well as a mild touch of cinnamon embrace the easy going base. Still remains very drinkable, just a tad more interesting than the base one. I don't nessesarily like it better myself (due to not being a fan of cinnamon ) but the mead works well - perhaps even better than the base.

Nice classical straight honey tasting mead. Great balance of sweetness and alcohol vs spicy flavour. Medivnara prague bottle
