Bottled (from Tesco). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grains and some bready tones. Flavour is grainy, herbal and some mild earthy yones. Very simplistic, and actually just plain boring. Not off or anything. Just too mild elements of everything here.

Bottle from Tesco. Historic notes. Poured golden with a fairly large white head. Light aroma of hop and grain. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Light body and thin texture. Average carbonation. Not special.

Bottle from Tesco. Pale gold. Some grainy pale malt aroma. Would be better if it was cold but no off flavours nothing wrong with it. Some grainy malt is all.

(can, 44cl) Almost clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet and minimal dusty, slightly toasty malty aroma with a touch of cardboard and a shy hoppy touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Initially malty, slightly toasty taste with herbal hoppy notes; moderately dry finish with a rising, almost a bit harsh hoppy bitterness. Not perfectly balanced but still likeable Czech Lager. 24.IX.08

Bottle from Tesco. A malty lager, with a prominent sweet edge and grassy hop finish. A bit cloying by the end of the bottle.

Can (Diky, Quack-Ducku !): Golden, mid-sized fluffy lacy head; swet-malty and hoppy, but also a bit cardboardy; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft malty base; slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish with a fruity-lemony touch. Tastes far better than it smells...........

440ml can, from Tesco Honiton. Clear deep golden yellow colour, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, solid and pleasant malty body with some good Saaz hops. Well-balanced with a bitter-sweet character.
