There once was a brewer who got to taste a beer brewed with miso paste and for some peculiar reason it reminded him of fresh apple pie. An idea was born – liquid apple pie. A few test brews followed – the first one smelled like glue and the brewer was advised to never brew this beer again. But he didn’t give up that easily and finally Applehoff was born – a lactobacillus-soured ale brewed with Granny Smith apples and Ceylon cinnamon, with some lactose added to balance the sourness. Close your eyes, take a whiff from the glass and be transported to your grandma’s kitchen.

Hazy golden colour with no head.Can I warm it up and drink it as medicine heavy flavour of cinnamon and green apples nice bit like spicy cake interesting taste not bad refreshing and mild bid like a cider but ok overall.

Canned 330ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb, shared with Hrabren. Unclear pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, strong cinnamon and light apple in the nose. Candy cinnamon and apple bubble gum taste with sweet finish.

0.33 l can shared with Ogi at Ambasada, Zagreb. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Intense apple pie aroma, baked apple, cinnamon. Some candy or marmelade. Hint of tart apple and citrus. Medium body, creamy texture, sweet apple candy, cinnamon, vanilla powder. Soft. Light tartness. Finishes sweet with a lemony kick.

Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots of cinnamon, smells like Apfelstrudel, baked apples, more cinnamon, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, pretty sourish, lots and lots of cinnamon, a little sweet, lots of baked apples, nice! Aftertaste: a little tart, earthy, cinnamon, more apples, good!

Draught@TCBW2018. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is a bunch fo spices, apples, some tartness with a bit vanilla too. Flavour has apples, vanilla and some cinnamon to it. Quite bitter finish. Mellow balance.
