2/1/2021. Mottle courtesy of martjoobolut, cheers Mart! Pours dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is boozy, dried fruit, toffee, brown sugar, biscuit, chocolate, liquorice and touch of herb. Medium plus sweetness and a developing bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. I quite enjoyed it.

Tap @ Humalakoda. Dark brown pour, oily and without much foam. Nose is sweet, some booze but mainly just malt syrup, maltoosa with a touch of grassy-herbal hop character. Taste is also malty, at the same time super strong liquorice, also harsh bitterness, layered on the oily body. Actually difficult to drink this, struggling a bit. Aftertaste is grassy, still malty and somewhat grainy, lingering herbal liquorice. Can still be improved a bit, probably after ageing this for 5 years would taste much different, not sure if this was released also in bottles though (probably not).

Tap at the source. Pours amber-copper. Aroma and flavor are sweet, caramel, malt, toffee, some burnt notes, very hoppy, quite thin, some booze (but not too bad considering the abv). Overall: ok.
