Bottle at home shared with Laura. Rating 23000. Opaque dark brown to black color, average to medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, soft roast, bourbon. Flavor is malts, bourbon, brown malts, raisins, bitter. Solid, very solid.

750 ml waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 13.5%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Aroma of roast malts, dusty attic, a hint of bourbon and vanilla. Rich and warming mouthfeel. Flavour of roast malts, mild coffee, chocolate, bourbon, oak and vanilla. Distinct sweetness, but not too much.

Big bottle (thanks Mandells!). Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Coffee, roasted, some whisky and mild vanilla tones in the aroma. Flavour is bourbon, some roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, alcohol, liquorice and rather sweet elements. A bit on the boozy side of things to be honest.

Bottle, 75cl. It's close to black in the glass, with a finger-thick dark beige head of moderate size. The aroma has a boozy touch, with some alcohol and a good dash of roasted malts. Coffee and dark chocolate notes, some licorice and then even more alcohol. Oak and even more chocolate. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and very smooth on the palate, very softly carbonated. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, alcohol, oak and a touch of licorice. Lasting finish with a herbal hint. Quite delicious this one. 220516
