Bottle sample at Kraft, courtesy of the Mad crew. Nice impy with prominent chocolate, nutty and molasses notes and a rather apparent and very pleasant barrel character, the spicy, warming rum comes through nicely. The cinnamon’s also there, mainly in the aroma, but the plum’s kinda lost on me. The body is rich and outstandingly thick, as usual. Well made all in all, but I’ve had better ones from this series.

Bottled@Zinc, Vaasa. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, plum, some ripe fruits, alcohol and mild wooden tones. Flavour is ripe fruits, some plum, alcohol, floral tones and some mild wooden tones. Sweet, but not overly so.
