Bottle shared at BD Castlegate. It pours hazy dakr brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, milk chocolate cake, roasted malt, coffee, gateaux, powdery and marshmallow. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, sticky, toasted brown sugars, roasted malt, chocolate brownie, caramel, cola, rocky road, dried fruits and light alcohol with a drying, roasted finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Easy going stout.

Bottle share @ Hansen's, bottle I had picked up a month ago at Oslo Airport. Black pour with some light brownish foam on too. Actually decent foam and leaves some lacings. Nose has roast, some soft lacto edge. Cocoa and sweet milk chocolate. Tastes roasty, quite dry, blackberries with some burnt toast. Soft and balanced and bit of lacto sweetness there in the finish. 8% is well hidden, smooth, dry and enjoyable.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 28/10/2018 at "Bodega Fermín", Barcelona (Spain). Intense dark brown colour with a medium beige and foamy head. Aroma is drak coffee, roasted malts, smoked grains and some licorice. Taste is licorice, smoked malts, roasted coffee and earth. Finish is medium smoked, cola and licorice. Next one please!

Bottle at home. Three year old. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a big beige head. Aroma of coffee, soy sauce, nuts, dark wood, ash, roasted malt and cocoa. Hint of smoke. Roasted flavour with ash, dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans in a little dry ending. Has a silky mouth feel, medium body and bitterness. Surprisingly bitter and relatively light bodied. Tasteful and powerful anyway.

Draught at KCBD18. Good coffee aroma. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour has a good coffee note, slightly acidic. Roasted finish. Oily mouthfeel, but not because of sweetness or sugar. And still a bit thin for the ABV.
