12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 1/26/24. Hazy orange, large white head, average retention. Aroma of melon, pale malt. Taste is melon, lemon, orange, citrus, pale malt. Juicy, mild bitterness. Decent.

Aromas are slightly old pineapple and citrus hops with some dry grain. Flavors are a little better though nothing special. Meaning sweet with some bitter and good carbonation to balance. Drinkable but nothing to remember.

12oz can picked up at the state store. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Fruity, herbal, dank resin hops. Ok

Apparently NB has decided all their IPAs need to be so needlessly sweet as to be intolerable. So in that case, I guess theyโ€™re succeeding. Otherwiseโ€ฆ

12oz can is a hazy yellow, frothy white head. Nose has some citrus and tropicals, some wheat. Flavor follows, feels a bit stale, citrus rind, straw, dried pineapple. Finishes bigger than 7.5% and 25IBUs.

I have a 12 oz can that came off the singles rack at the nearest HEB supermarket. The Voodoo beers haven't done much for me, let us see if this one is different. Pouring inside of a globe glass, I determine an orange-yellow liquid and a skinny head of completely white foam. The nose gives up some citrus, tropical and a small bit of hops. And the taste, well, it is not bad. Grapefruit, some pineapple, a touch of hoppy bitterness, oranges and something flowery. More sweet than bitter. I find this one leaning towards a NE style, just saying. Tolerably okay in light of expectations.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy orange gold with two fingers of white foam that lingers. Aromas of lemon/lime Sprite and cantaloupe. Palate is very similar with lemon, lime zest and melon. Finish hits with some pith, light dank and melon.

Cashmere comes through relatively well here considering this is a Voodoo Ranger--usually a terrible line of beers. Light bitter end. Can.

Tasting at JR's. Smell is a little hoppy of course. Bitter up front on the palate. Gets ruder towards the middle. Good level of co2. Pale yellow in color and mostly clear. Better than most voodoo anger as far as this lager lover is concerned.
