Bevog turns 10 this year and we’ve decided to travel back in time, to when the race for who has more IBUs was raging.
It’s a single organic malt beer that we hopped up mainly with hop varieties that give this beer aromas of super ripen sweet fruits and a resiny background. We were not only generous with hops in late hop additions and dry hopping, but the bitterness addition was a hefty one as well.
Imagine sweet fruits turning into resiny palate cleansing bitterness that lingers and pushes you to the next sip - or chug, if you prefer.
Bitterness is the new juice.
Cheers!

Little cloudy blond yellow beer, big solid creamy foamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very floral, a bit fruity, citrus notes, tangerines, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, very resinous, super bitter really, a bit soapy, floral, more unpleasant bitterness, hoppy, a bit resinous, don’t like it much. Aftertaste: very bitter, soapy, unpleasant bitterness, a sweet touch, a bit oxidized, nope, not good.

Can via 100 piv. Rather thin body, rather high carbonation. High bitterness, light sweetness, malt in the background, hops-centered. Nice clean med-high grassy, resiny, zesty hops character, a bit dank. Quite good.

Can, 0.50l. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, berries and bubblegum. Pours clear golden color with medium sized soapy white head, great lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts mild to medium sweet grainy and herbal, following is medicinal and citrusy, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate.
