330 ml can, as ELØ Damnation Imperial Brown Ale, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Mahogany colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Malty and nutty aroma, hints of brittle and roasted nuts. The flavour is malty but not sweet, again notes of roasted nuts, hints of burnt breadcrumbs, moderate bittering hops. Well balanced and nice to drink.

0,33 boks fra VP Herbarium, hjemme: mørkebrun med fint skum som varer. Deilige og overbevisende inntrykk av mørke karamellsjokolader, kaffe, sjokoladedrasjerte havrekjeks, ristet brød og urter i en myk og samtidig solid maltkropp. Deilig bitterhet i avslutningen, og mersmaken lar ikke vente på seg.

Kumlefjorden Juleølsmaking 2022 . Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, bread, roasted malt, coffee. Flavor is yeast, roasted malt, coffee, bread, alcohol, rye, spices, chocolate, licorice. Nice beer.

Can. It pours an unclear dark brown body under a dense dark beige head. Slightly vegetal aroma, burnt, roasted and with some coffee grit, licorice and piney hops. Quite alcoholic. It’s bitter, warming and full-bodied, nicely carbonated, with mostly dry dark flavors. Some spiced flavors, but non added to the grist. Roasted malts, burnt notes, coffee, dark chocolate and licorice. Licorice finish. Quite unbalanced. Feels rather alcoholic and bitter too. 221126
