As the hoppy flavors of passionfruit, dank melon, and peach fade into a nuance of white wine on the finish, that big ABV completely vanishes behind a curtain of fruity goodness.

16 oz can. Aroma is mango, passionfruit, and mild grapefruit. Flavor has the tropical fruit upfront with grapefruit and herbal bitterness that gives balance. Mild white grape. Show a very mild astringency. The alcohol is totally hidden until is warms up a lot. Soft mouthfeel and very well crafted.

Green onion and a little grapefruit. Pours hazy golden with decent head. Light tangy finish. OK. tangerine, unripe mango. Not enough nelson for my liking. Tap at Rustico.

Aromas are nice blend of melon, stone fruit and citrus with a hint of MJ. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet with soft mouth. And some chalk. Good beer.

Draft pour to a tulip at Elliott Bay Pizza. Glowing golden haze with sticky lacing, oily foam head. Really smooth and easy drinking IPA for one of the double digit variety. A bite late, but all smooth up front. Both juicy and grassy on the hop side, with distict notes of orange. Cool linger. Cream body. More bitter than your average advertised hazy. Bitterness intensifies late into the palate. Still have yet to find a Nelson hopped brew I didn't like. Another solid one here.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Melon and earth in the aroma. Approaching full bodied - lots of foamy carbonation here. It's juicy but even a bit astringent. Almost more astringent than bitter - which it is. Flavor is pale stone fruit, green melon, earthiness. Bitter enough to burn the mouth. With time passion fruit and white berry come forth. It's a strongly flavored ale.
