From Oct 2007

Pours from 24oz can s clear straw with a tiny head of foam that soon shrinks to nothing.

The smell is kind of strong but nasty. A messy grain nose and something that smells sourish.

The taste has a bit of hop bitterness but it has no appreciable base, no malt that I can detect, and actualll\y, what flavour *is* there is pretty bad. Yuck. Another drain pour for me.

Pale straw. Head courtesy foam stabilizer. Grainy, industrial aroma. Quite unpleasant. What, like apples, graininess and gooseberry. Very light body Grainy, lots of acetaldehyde. Watery finish with more of that overwhelming green apple and sourish grains. So, bland and full of flaws. A double whammy of things I’m not remotely interested in.

Backlog. Multiple times when I was a young’n. Nothing good to say about this beer other than it was cheap. Watery and not much flavor at all. Meh.

Why? I just had to, I guess. Looks like ginger ale, extremely pale golden, tons of carbonation, small white foamy head. Aroma not much to speak of, not bad, just very faint grainy smell. Taste is also a no-show, more water than anything else, some wet paper taste. No finish either, but then it never really started. Beer flavored water...

355 ml can. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a thin, white head. Mild, sweet aroma of malt and corn. Mild, sweet flavour to match with a slight metallic finish and no bitterness. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

25 oz can after painting. Pale color smallish head. Light grainy corny aroma and flavor. Crisp light clean adjunct beer. It didn’t totally suck, but would have been better with just more of something.
