Can. An almost clear dark brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma has a nice touch of whiskey, with toffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts and a nice coffee addition. It's medium to full-bodied, silky and semi-sweet, with mostly malty flavors. Toffee, dark chocolate and a good dash of coffee in the flavor. Some whiskey too. Long, pleasant finish. Not bad this one, quite pleasant. 240525

Quite a nice barrel aged stout, that punches a lot over its ABV weight. Almost completely black, but with sherry-brown tones along the edges. There is lots of coffee, some chocolade, a toned down barrell profile. It even has some spirit tones, but I suspect it is from the barrels. Interesringly, there is a slightly burning sensation, almost peppers. Body is full and sweet, but not cloying, and almost oily on its smoothness. I like it, but I cannot understand where it gets that burning sensation from. Not for the faint-hearted.

God kaffe lukt aroma.
Litt stikkende karbonering i starten. Går over til en litt milkstout fløyel før en røstet kaffe bitterhet.

Can @ home. Black body under a small beige head. Aroma has dark malt, lots of chocolate, coffee and a faint hint of whisky. Taste is sweet, smooth dark malt, chocolate, coffee, not much whisky and moderate bitterness. Fine body with same aftertastes. A bit one dimensional but still nice.

Delt med Egil & Kai-O på Lillehøgda. Svart. Middels høyt luftig skummet litt farge. Aroma av kaffe - med hint av whisky. Smaken Irish Coffee. Grei som dessert.

330ml can, #875, bought at Vinmonopolet Oslo City. Black in the glass, stable fawn-coloured head, rich lacing. Good looking, indeed! Attractive coffee-chocolate aromas. Similar taste of black chocolate and espresso coffee, slightly oaky. Fine depth. Good drinking. (Hotel room, Oslo 14.09.2023).
