0.33 l bottle from 'AleHub', best before March 2029. Very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of roasted nuts, coffee, some smoked ham and a touch of caramel. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty, a little sourish, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, smoked ham, red grapes and red berries, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, a little tart finish. Medium to full body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant brew, an Adambier in the Freigeist tradition with a touch of sourness and smoke, not as extreme as 'Methusalem' though.

Mild rauchiger, dezent säuerlicher Beginn. Weich röstiger Mittelteil, der Alkoholgehalt ist nie erkennbar. Spritzig, deutlich malzig, eher kurzer Abgang. 9/8/10/8/6/8

From tap. Pours dark brown, small off white head. Aroma is roasted malt. Light sourish. Bitter, breadish. Slight sour fruity. Lasting sour breadish finish.
Boozy strange unfiltered style with a surprisingly clean body and drinkabiiity: Coeln craft beer corner.
