A blended wild ale, comprised of three of Barrique’s wet hopped barrels blended together: 18 month aged Basque, a citrus blonde wet hopped with Idaho 7; 16 month aged mixed culture saison, wet hopped with Amarillo; and 12 month aged mixed culture blonde ale, wet hopped with Strata. The culmination of Barrique’s wet hop sour program, this year’s blend delivers a burst of passion fruit and grapefruit peel flavors along side a pungent, dank aroma. There were less than 800 bottles produced, which had limited distribution.

Love it! Though the hops were not as noticeable as I maybe expected, but I wasn't sure what to expect. When was it hopped? before barrel aging? There beer was also 8 months old when i tried it (bottled Feb 25, tasted Oct 25). Real nice sour presentation though - doughy and lemony flavors, with mild grain and funk on the nose. The tartness was "right thar". Semi-sweet, light bodied and easy drinking. Funky and fun. Cloudy yeasty yellow car with light short lived head.

Sample at the roost pours a clear gold with some white head. Nose has lemony hop and green hop, green grape, neutral oak. Flavors same and all amped up. More of everything. Tart, oily, long finish. 8 3 8 4 13

Aromas are a blend of vinegar, oak, herbs and floral. Flavors are similar to nose, definitely sour but enough fruit and just right bitter to balance. Add in good citrus. Nice beer.
