Pure Michigan Spring Hazy IPA
We partnered up with Pure Michigan again to celebrate the long-awaited transition from a dark, cold winter to a bright, hopefully warm spring. Pure Michigan Spring Hazy IPA is a lush, tropical retreat for your tastebuds (made with all Michigan ingredients, and featuring the Vista hop) with a dry finish that brings you back for more. We hope drinking this beer makes you think of fresh buds on trees, snow melt, trilliums popping up from the just thawed earth, and the joy of knowing a Pure Michigan summer is just around the corner.

Canned 1/31/24, drunk 6/9/24. Moderately hazy, bright, sunny, orange-golden-bronze. Small, white head, quickly to edges. Lightly juicy citrus with heavy spice and a bit of pine. Cracker malts and very fruity, estery yeast. Very, very light, though with an almost wheat-like chewiness on the very end that adds back some much-needed depth. Incredibly dry, though, with bitter spice, herbs and grass. Clean, though, and no lingering acid. This really shouldn't be marketed as an NEIPA/hazy. Would be more honest to call this Spring Session or something along those lines. Still, it's quite clean and pleasant, and still assertively hoppy even after four months on a shelf.

12 oz can. Pours a fully hazed yellow with a white head. Herbal, grassy hop aroma. Flavor is herbal hops, grassy, with touches of citrus and a moderate bitterness. It's okay, but not really what I'm looking for in a hazy IPA.
