BA Sump 2022 is an imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels with coffee from Peru La Convención roasted by Sump Coffee. A blend of stouts with a barrel breakdown of 20% 21 month aged in Weller Barrels, 20% 20 month aged bourbon barrels, 30% 20 month aged in Rittenhouse Rye, and 30% 20 month aged in Wild Turkey barrels. As with all coffee beers, we encourage you to store cold and drink fresh.

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong licorice, roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood, bourbon. Slick body, roasted malt, cocoa, dark fruit, nice barrel and sweetness, enjoyed this.

Sample @ MBCC 2018. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma has peppery coffee, super green bellpeppery, caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate. Taste has peppery coffee, vanilla, dark roast, chocolate. Holy fuck the aroma on this is weird. Settles ok. Flavour was decent but damn what a letdown. Scores good because of good appearance and body lol.

Tap at MBCC. Pours black. Aroma and flavor are roast, chocolate, coffee, malt, beany notes, bit of milkiness. Overall: very good, but prefer non ba.

Bottle at bumba. Aroma of creamy bourbon, vanilla, caramel fudge, red fruit, booze and oak. Taste of rich bourbon vanilla, red fruit, caramel fudge, coffee and a long rich finish. Amazing.

Bottle shared at Andrew's B-day bash. Pours a pitch black with a small brown head that dissipates quickly. Huge coffee forward nose with some chocolate fudge and bourbony, vanilla oak goodness. Thick and viscous on the palate, still a tad hot with the bourbon standing out. Coffee thoughout. Lingering roasted coffee and toasted vanilla and chocolate notes.
