En double barrel-versjon av vår #777 Imperial Coffee Porter.
Double barrel, hva mener vi så med det? Jo, #777 ble først tilsatt etiopisk kaffe fra Bergen Kaffebrenneri laget på fatlagrede kaffebønner (ja, det er faktisk en greie!). Så har vi spart en del av baseølet og lagret dette på eks bourbon fat. Etter fatlagringen fikk også dette ølet tilsatt samme kaffe, nectar from the gods!

750ml bottle. Clear, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and small, creamy, fading, beige head. BA supported, roasty, dark malty and slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of coffee, hints of caramel and Bourbon. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly roasty, dark malty, mild BA support, notes of coffee, some Bourbon; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, mediun to fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Very harmonious and homogeneous - pretty good.

Bottle 750ml @ gunnfryd. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and oak, Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, coffee, oak, vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0,75 flaske hjemme, en akkurat passe stor brukerdose fordelt utover en hel alene hjemme-kveld med mye god musikk på stereoanlegget. Utskjenking i mitt vakre Art Deco Orval-glass: mørkebrun teak/mahogny med kort skum. Vinøse toner treffer nesegrevet, og den lett søtlige smaken følger opp med med bourbon, nytraktet velbrygget kaffe, mørke dessertchokolader, rosiner, sviskeplommer og andre herligheter. Farlig konsumerbar, og velværet brer seg raskt i kropp og sjel. På platespilleren akkurat nå: Johan Svendsens fiolinkonsert med Arve Tellefsen, Oslofilharmonien og Karsten Andersen (Polydor 1974).

Black with a brown head - Dark malt, coffee and bourbon aroma - DArk malt body with a good coffee flavour with some gentle wood barrel bourbon flavours in the back - Dark malt and coffee flavours goes into the finish - This was real good

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 14%. Black colour, small beige head. Distinct boozy aroma of bourbon, fusel alcohols, molasses, roast malts, oak and vanilla. Warming mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Smooth and medium sweet flavour, distinct notes of bourbon, oak and vanilla, also chocolate / cocoa and smooth coffee.

Aaahhh thank god not to much bourbon. Deep dark pour and a small beige head. Good intensity in the aroma. Pleasant moderate sweetness and a fine carbonation level Dangerously easy to drink Dark malt, roast, toffee, mild bourbon and chocolate in the flavor [Bottle at Komlefjorden 23]

Bottle, 75cl. An oily pour reveals a dark brown beer and a pretty minimalistic beige head. The aroma has a pleasant coffee touch, with roasted malts, oats, some nuts and alcohol, molasses hints and a touch of salty, spiced licorice. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and smooth on the palate, with a good sweetness and some bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, some alcohol and a good dash of chocolate in the flavor. Some licorice and molasses. Cola-hints, some dark dried fruit and oatmeal. Lasting finish. Gentle barrel impact here, and the alcohol is well hidden. Nice indeed. 231125
