Arise ye prisoners of thirst!
What do we want? Beer! When do we want it? Now!
No, the revolution will not be televised, but drink to it we can, with Friekens Rood!
A West Coast Amber Ale, reddish top fermented beer. Deliciously intense, full on the tongue, with notes of fruit and a balanced bitterness of American hops. Roasted barley and crystal malts give this crisp winter beer a solid body a a strong, warm, fraternising finish.

Redelijk bittere finish.

Op tap bij NHBF ‘24. Donker amber kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Caramel, geconfijte vruchten, abrikoos, hint van toast, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Degelijk.

Very homebrew like, essentially how I would make it on my first try in the basement . Noord-holland bier fest

Bottle. Lots of roasted malts, caramel, green leafy hops, light metallic, pine, lime zest. Over medium sweet and bitter. Has a lot of taste for the abv, not bad!

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2023) Dark reddish amber colour with creamy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toast, apricot marmalade and spicy hops. Malty taste with caramel, toast, crisp-bread and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
