Bottle (thanks jinroh). Pours amber with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, sugary. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, fruits, citrus, malt. Finish is sweet. Overall: ok.

Bottle from Dogenzaka Shinanoya. Pours beautiful amber-golden, some foam but not too much of it. Aroma is quite malty, bready crisp malt character with a touch of green hops. Taste is quite bitter and hops have this obvious wet hop character, full of tannins. Long relatively bitter finish. Interesting display of wet hops.

On tap at Molto as 2017 Harvest Yamagata Wet Hop. Light grassy hop nose, orange, spicy. Bready malt, light peaches. Clear orange-gold with a low head. Medium sweet, biscuity malt, fruity, not much hop happening as with all J-wet hops this year.

330ml bottle from Yamaoka, Kyoto (as 2017 Harvest Yamagata Wet Hop Ale). Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of caramely malts, earthy notes, pine and hints of herbal notes. Taste is grainy, wet grassy and herbal with some pine and caramel. Finish is sweetish and slightly earthy with some grainy malts and caramel, hints of wet grassy notes. A bit unbalanced.

Looks like they redid this beer in 2017, but just called it Yamagata Wet Hop Harvest. Fiery amber color. Peaches and stone fruit in the nose, but not overly pronounced. Body is medium with light to modest bitterness. Falls a bit flat and the end. Meh, its ok.
