Tap at Automat Matuška, thx! Pitch black head, fairly lasting creamy off-white head. Apart from the expected light roasty and caramelly-bready malty notes in the aroma, there's a solid dose of floral hoppiness as well. The same continues into the quite dry taste, mainly floral hoppy notes on caramel and bread, with the roast showing up to back it. Can't say it thrilled me, but this style rarely does - it's a good one!

750ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, minimally bready, dark malty aroma, notes of pumpernickel, hints of coffee grounds, whiffs of malt lozenge. Taste is roasty, minimally ashy and minimally bready, dark malty with low residual sweetness, slightly bitter and piney hoppy counterpart, hints of pumpernickel, Belgian chocolate, a touch of malt lozenge, coffee grounds, pine.
Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well crafted, relatively meaty, balanced and harmonious - good.

Bottle 0.75l, one year aged. Clear, red to black colored. AROMA- roasted malts, chocolate, creamy. FLAVOR- neutral to dry, moderately bitter, a bit creamy, roasted, chocolate, a bit earthy. Medium bodied.

750ml Bottle - Black in colour. Coffee, chocolate and liquorice in the aroma. Vanilla, coffee, blackcurrant and milk chocolate can all be detected in the smooth taste. A tasty stout.

Bottle at BBT 12/2023. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, low sweetness. Med-high roasty maltiness, part coffee, part cocoa, part melta. Overall good, but not great, somewhat sulfury.

75cl bottle @ BBT 12/2023. Head is big, tanned, good retention. Colour is black, opaque. Aroma is rich dark malts, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, bit caramel, hoppy touch. Taste is medium malty base, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, dark bread crust, dry on the palate, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyed for sure.
