Just like the single version of Pan IPAni, this one is jam packed with American hops. This, and then a generous amount of wheat malt and wheat flakes result in a round, creamy and elegant beverage. It’s strong, treacherously so, the bitterness moderate and orangey. When brewing Pan IPAni Double we wanted to check if one could possibly get even more out of the American hops — more rich fruitiness, deep and fleshy. You can almost feel full by just smelling it!
Pan IPAni Double will satisfy lovers of full-bodied, sweeter and aromatic beers.

0,5l bottle from Piwne Mosty online store. BBE 03.02.2022. This version is 7%, not 7.7%. Hazy orange yellow beer with quite small white head. Aroma has pale malts and bready notes. Flavor has same elements with dry hops and citrus. Smooth and quite lame. Even cardboard. Bit too old stuff.

Bottle shared with a neighbour. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Grains, wheat and oats on the nose, quite light on the hops, but a touch of sweet mango and citrus. Taste is quite sweet up front. Light tropical fruit. Some bitterness at the back.

A double wheat IPA? Probably my first ever, and not too shabby. Pours hazy/cloudy gold with a small, bubbly off white head, and a yeasty, piney and bitter orange aroma. The mouthfeel is thinner than you’d expect from a wheat beer, but has a graininess to it, and the bitterness kicks into the flavour up top, with some sweet citrus and tropical fruit sitting behind, before a long dry bitter finish

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; yeasty aroma; pleasant fruity wheat taste with more yeast adding a touch of banana and clove; then a dry finish leaving a gentle warmth in the stomach. Rather good.

Rocky off white head stayed on a cloudy light amber coloured still body. Orange, yeast & a big hop aroma. Medium to full bodied, tickly on the tongue with a thick smooth back & clean aft. Sweet nectarine, mango, peach & orange tastes with a big hoppy finish. Far too easy to drink & far too tasty

330ml bottle from Beer52; it's definitely the Double, but it's the same ABV (7%) as the regular Pan IPAni. Drank at home on 9th Dec 2020. Poured a misty golden orange, white topping. Nose is citrus centric, as is the taste, it's marmalade sweet with a lemon like bitterness blended in. Enjoyed it.
