The glass is filled with the thick white foam and bright golden beer.

In the aroma, there are spicy phenols from the yeast, but they are quickly tamed by red berries from Barbe Rouge hops. They decide to call it a draw and settle on the couch with the bowl of toffee and barbaris candy.

Flavor starts with the ripe and sweet berries but starts to veer off towards sour and sweet malts. Fortunately, hops will intervene, and balance is restored - what malt sourness with berry sweetness is playing in your tongue with slightly grassy and unique bitterness.

Oh, and you can try Rorschach test on lacing left on the glass.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear deep golden with a modest, white head. Malty and somewhat fruity with yeasty and slightly spicy notes. Medium sweet with light acidic notes and fairly mild flavours. Finishes slightly dry.

Bottle (from SIP). Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, malty, some fruits, caramel. Flavor follows the nose. Body is surprisingly light. Alcohol is mostly covered. Overall: ok, bit bland and forgettable.

330ml bottle, don't really remember any more where I got this. Pours clear amber with a fe bubbles on top. Spicy-yeasty nose, more about spices I think . A bit sweet and malty. Yes, taste also reminds me these French beers I have sampled in Paris, spicy but light, sweet and with an alcoholic bitter edge. Interesting flowery bitterness lingering in the finish. Pretty good attempt on the style if you ask me, maybe feels a tad too boozy but otherwise definitely a nice one.
