Black with a small off-white head. Roasted aroma with liquorice and coffee, and a touch of almonds. Dry and roasted flavour with a marzipan aftertaste only sneaking in behind the beer flavour. Very well done.

44cl can from Mille et Une Bieres Bordeaux. Head is big, tanned, quick gone. Colour is black, opaque. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, marzipan, bit caramel, vanilla. Taste is full malty base, roasted tones, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, cocoa, caramel, bit vinous, smooth oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, very nice for the style, fully enjoyed.
