Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours clear pale yellow. Quite malty for a pilsener, more Czech than German style. Super light body though, with almost no hop bitterness, but rather a thin malt body. Super light, but still not of the refreshing type. Not sure what’s the purpose of this beer.

Can from Rema 1000 in Haugesund. Clear light golden with a white head. Soft and easy to drink with some bread, grass and hints of citrus. Not the best one from Lervig but drinkable.

33cl can from Westholme Stores, Goring. A pale straw pour with a loose white head; with a fresh grassy bitterness and a bready body, but overwise a standard Eurolager.

Pale golde color with a minimal and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma has notes of hay with grassy hints. Flavor is cerealish with light maltiness. Slightly bitterness in the final with low body.

Poured from a can with a best by date of 10/29/2015. Aroma is grain and bready with some medium light floral esters and a hint of fruit. Light, floral and herbal hop note. Pours a fairly clear, pale yellow gold with a medium sized, fairly thick and pillowy, white head that exhibits nice retention as it recedes. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with moderate malt notes of grain and white bread. Medium light bitterness. Hints of floral and fruit esters. Light grassy and floral hop notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a fairly crisp and refreshing beer, but a bit too sweet and estery for the style. Well balanced and easy drinking.

Can at he in London - picked up from Beermerchants. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold, effervescent, with a creamy white head. Lovely biscuity malt nose with touches of cereal, floral hops and lemon peel. Medium sweet flavor with plenty more pale white bread, cereal, subtle bitter straw, lemon meringue. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean on the finish with a malty mix of dough and biscuit, some further hay, cereal, impressions of citrus, simple sugars. Great stuff. I would happily crank through a few cans of this post-workout.
