Single hopped Australian pale ale. A new beer fom the team here at Thornbridge “Galaxia”. The name might suggest it’s from the stars but it refers to this being a single hopped pale ale – a beer brewed to showcase the Australian hop variety Galaxy.
Caolan Vaughan our resident antipodean says ”Using our fantastic pale ale recipe allows this stunning hop to transform this beer into a pleasurable experience in a glass - one for all hop lovers”. The Galaxy hop imparts striking beautiful aromas of mango, guava and grapefruit. While providing an intensely tingling bitter finish. ABV changed from 5.2 to 4.5 in 2017.

Cask at the Rose Villa Tavern, Birmingham. Clear amber pour with a huge frothy white head and lots of broken lace. Hoppy, spicy aroma with a lovely smooth, dry hoppy flavour and an almost creamy texture. A really great ale for a session.
