A bit hazy copper color. Powerful smooth aroma with honey wax and wood. Quite thick body. And yet easy drinkable. Sweet, but not cloying or sticky. Creamy and oily texture. Balanced honey, dried fruit and wood in the flavor. Some warming alcohol. Nice one.

0.1l ceramic bottle, 2010 model from trade with Eldesmadre. Huge thanks Kuba! Just love these small ceramic bottles! In the glass this is a somewhat cloudy almost chestnut brown colored liquid thing. It looks like it should and it smells fantastic! Like sticking your nose inside a bee hive. So beautifully concentrated and sticky. Sweet dates and honey with a little hay, lots of raisins and some boiled down Coca Cola as well. A lovely nose. In the mouth it's lovely gliding, thick and syrupy. Powerful flavors, lots of self written honey and sweetness. Even if it's only a 13 percenter, it really brings a superb warming sensation down the throat. A good amount of both banana and date-sweetness found here. Dried almost burned sweet and bitter black raisins found on the outside of buns that has been in the oven? Yeah, you know the taste. It's just such a lovely sipper this. Almost so that I wish I had a big bottle, but I guess it's for the best that I don't. 22.01.2014

Notes from 6/12. 5oz-ish pour from a 750ml tall display bottle @ Sunset Grill. My near the bottom of the bottle sample seems a bit darker then some of the other reviews indicate. Old age, lighting, oxidation, probably. A very dark brown with hints of deep maroon. Smells of maple syrup, old wood, & fortified wine. Taste is awesome. Deeply pungent honey & dark fruit, with a mild herbal bitterness on the finish. Brown sugar. Pleasant oxidation. Potent. Feels a bit warmer then 13%, but there’s no burn. Saturated & coating(but not quite sticky) texture. Regal. :)

Bottle thanks to my Mom for Christmas! Pours a deep copper with a hint of gold and no head whatsoever. Aroma has a nice note of smooth honey, but has a good amount of backing booze as well. Flavor starts with a nice sweet honey note with a hint of light fruit but the finish is quite boozy and harsh.

Ceramic bottle, bottled 2009-01-22.
Measured Final Gravity 1027

These guys at Maciej Jaros surely have very attractive bottles (also expensive...).
It pours a beautiful gold-copper color, bright, but with some haze. The aroma is deep, with honey, mild fruits (even some strawberries), iberic fortified wines (from Sherry to white Porto). The flavor is sweeter than the 1027 F.G. would suggest, with honey, some soft caramel, and a fair degree of fruitiness; the alcohol is moderate and works as pleasant complement. The final gets just a bit drier. Fresh and highly drinkable.
Very good. As a Trojniak, one of the best.
