10oz pour is a murky black, a ring of beige head. Nose has toast, molasses, licorice, smoke. Flavor is heavy with molasses and licorice and burnt toast, toasted almonds, burnt bread. Dry finish, full bodied but smooth.

Taster at brewery. Dark brown, spotty head. Roasty aroma, coffee. Taste is dry, roasty, sweet, coffee, cola.
