Pours creamy black with a frothy, thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate and nuts. Taste has some more nuttiness, toasted grain, tons of chocolate, roasted malt. Palate has more nuttiness, toasted nuts, lingering cocoa notes, dark, on the nose. Good.

Can (2/21/22) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits, Southington. It's an opaque black with thin cap of light brown head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt over nuts and chocolate. Taste is strong roasted malt, mild nuts and chocolate. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick, sticky texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a full-bodied, dessert sipper to be sure but more thick than sweet. Good to split with someone.

16oz can. Near black pour, one finger tan head. Sweet aroma, chocolate, roast. Taste adds almonds. Almond Joy minus the coconut. Creamy, smooth.

16 oz. can. Thick full tan head on top of pitch black liquid. Aroma shows dark chocolate, roasted malt, nuts. The body is what I expect; thick and full. In the flavor there’s an abundant amount of chocolate. I don’t really get the almond. A little bit a bitter chocolate to help with balance. But overall still pretty sweet.

Can from the packie. Inky black color with a stingy tan head that slowly recedes. Chocolate roast licorice caramel brown sugar and hints of nut. Earthy bitter roast to counter. Sweet and sticky but its a nice sipper.
