Can from Pub-up-beershop, Wolvega. Aroma is brown malts with lots of caramel, toffee, toasted malt, and notes of dried fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. I don't tend to seek out Irish Red Ales, but every once in a while it's fun to check one out. This one's fine.

16oz can from Tavour. Amber pour with a thin off-white foamy head. Malty aroma, toasty, woody. Taste brings more rich malts, mildly sweet, faint bitterness with a touch of dryness.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear, slightly ruddy, copper with a large creamy beige head that foamed away. Aroma is that toffee/caramel/amber thing with some floral hop. Med body. Flavor like the aroma with some roasty notes. Dry enough. More bitter than many IRAs. In terms of the universe it serves in the category Marzens serve.

Copper color with a sweet and malty aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt to start with a dry floral hop finish. A slight wood and earthy flavor. Mild bitterness at the end.

2 week old pint can A: Poured a very small fast falling head atop a clear deep orange to light brown body. Minimal lacing. S: Pine, herbs and autumn leaves with light toffee. T: Caramel upfront with mild pine and tart citrus hop bitterness that joins and lingers. Drinks like an Autumn seasonal. M: medium light with average carbonation and a wet fruity finish. O: Very nice with a great flavor balance. Great choice when you want something mildly malty.
