Pale amber, slight haze. The aroma has kind of a rye note. On the palate, it's heavy, lots of barrel. It's strong but a nice character, with a fair bit of sweetness underneath. Just a light bit of fruitiness. The fruity sweetness.

16 oz. can, pours a clear dark golden / copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out light caramel, whiskey barrels, and some vanillin. Flavour has an impressive whiskey barrel character, with lots of vanilla, followed by toasted caramel and bready malt. Real nice whiskey and vanilla character. The wheat wine base works nicely, as the body is lighter and serves up the whiskey and vanilla well. Excellent.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a small sand head. Nose is great big sweet caramel toffee malts rich bourbon barrel vanilla notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel toffee malts bourbon barrel goodness. Very good

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Copper coloured pour, patchy sparse head, thin ring. Strong aroma, boozy, caramel, butterscotch, sweet. Taste also starts boozy, sweet carmelly notes, whiskey barrel, butterscotch (again). Mildly sticky

16 oz. Aroma has notes of raisin, sherry, wood, vanilla, whiskey. Pours hazy orange-golden with a one finger bone-white head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is sweet with a lightly bitter edge, finishing dry. Beautiful whiskey barrel aged flavors. Really tasty and well done.
