“Double malt beer” golden color with pink shades typical of “cotognata leccese”, creamy and compact froth, brewed with malted barley and wheat, water, quince jam, hop and yeast. It’s a “fruity beer” whose generous use of jam used characterizes its fresh and syrup’s fruit aroma. Balanced freshness in the mouth. Ideal paired with whites main courses, whites meats and seasoned cheeses. A clean fruity aroma exalts dried desserts or tarts, marzipan, mousses and “semifreddi”.

Tasting at Papsø
Cloudy golden color. Light aroma of apricot jam. The body of the underlying Belgian Ale is not very strong, but it’s improved by the residual sweetness of the quince jam; the Ale is quite simple, dry and a bit spicy if possible, the fruit is a nice complement; the alcohol is probably a right target. Not liking fruit beers in general, I have to say that this one is correctly brewed.
